I am a daughter, sister, niece, cousin, friend, wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, employee - essentially your typical 'everywoman', yet unique unto myself, as we all are.  I believe that most of us, especially women, can relate to each other.  (Sadly, most men won't open up enough to and it is truly their loss.)   

I enjoy reading, nature, road trips, a good laugh, people watching, word games, jigsaw puzzles, and most children.

My best times are those spent with family and good friends.

My favorite g-rated way to unwind is a long, hot bubble bath with soft music, candlelight, and a good book.

The older I get, the more I truly appreciate the simple things in life.  I have been around long enough to know that 'stuff' isn't what makes me the happiest - good people and good experiences do.

And I have also lived long enough to learn that many of those cliches I heard as a child - " it is better to give than to receive"; "one day you will understand"; "this is going to hurt me more than it hurts you"; "there's no such thing as a free lunch"; "time flies when you're having fun" - well, darned if they aren't the truth!
